Dr. Ramsey is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified life care planner, and vocational expert specializing in life care planning and vocational damage assessments for personal injury litigation since 2011. With a strong foundation as a scientist-practitioner, he excels in strategic problem-solving, stakeholder consultation, and effective communication. He also serves as a healthcare consultant for the largest healthcare system in the U.S. Dr. Ramsey leverages his clinical, methodological, and quantitative expertise in the context of life care planning and vocational analysis.
Yanin Sanchez, M.S., CRC
Vocational Expert
Ms. Sanchez is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over 14 years of experience in rehabilitation counseling and job placement for individuals with physical, behavioral, and developmental disabilities at both state and federal levels. Since 2011, she has specialized in vocational damage assessments for personal injury litigation and workers’ compensation. She holds a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.
Patricia Russell, Ph.D.,
Research Consultant
Dr. Russell is a Health Science Researcher and Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Mount Union, where she competed as a collegiate track and cross-country athlete, and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, San Antonio. She has over 20 years of teaching experience. Her research focuses on complex comorbidities, social determinants of health, implementation science, and PTSD.
Irmo Marini, Ph.D., CRC, CLCP

Dr. Marini is a distinguished expert in life care planning and rehabilitation, with over 20 years as a Certified Life Care Planner and more than 30 years as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. A board member of the Foundation for Life Care Planning Rehabilitation Research, he previously served as the chief editor of the Journal of Life Care Planning. Recognized as a seminal figure in the field, he has received multiple national awards for his contributions to life care planning and rehabilitation research. A professor at the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley’s School of Rehabilitation, Dr. Marini has authored over 90 peer-reviewed publications, 60 book chapters, and edited eight books on life care planning and vocational analysis.
